How do you get a leaked broken and dried up battery out of a mag flashlight. It look like the battery exploded inside. So unscrew both ends and push the battery with a short broom handle, wear a rubber glove on the hand that holds the flashlight. After the battery has been removed, wire brush the inside to remove any corrosion.How do you get a leaked broken and dried up battery out of a mag flashlight?Doesn't matter how expensive the battery was if it's no longer useful does it?How do you get a leaked broken and dried up battery out of a mag flashlight?this happens too often to the maglite , we use them at work . what i do is hold the flashlight up side down in such a way that the battery could fall out if they weren't stuck in the lite . hold that over a garbage can and than tap gently on the side of the lite with a handle of a screw driver or a wooden handle . and as you tap it loosens the dried acid from the battery , it takes time but it does work . might want to wear rubber gloves and eye wear .
