How long does it take a 1.5V battery to reach 0V through a lamp?

I have a 1.5 V battery and am connecting it to a filament bulb in a circuit. How long will it take for the voltmeter to read 0V?How long does it take a 1.5V battery to reach 0V through a lamp?voltage is not a measure of capacity - you need to know the load (in Ohms or watts) of the lamp and the amperage (in mA) of the battery. How long does it take a 1.5V battery to reach 0V through a lamp? All the major battery manufacturers have tons of technical data online. Search the net for the battery's manufacturer; find the technical data for the particular battery type and size.

Do the same for the bulb, or measure its resistance in ohms.

Batteries are rated in volts, ampere hours. Divide the volts by the ohms of the bulb to get amps. Divide ampere hours by amps to get the battery life in hours. This is not exact because different types of batteries run out of juice in different ways; some gradually lose voltage, others go dead rather quickly.
