Does playing a psp with no battery going to lower the battery life?

I found this video on youtube that shows how to play psp with no battery. All you have to do is take out the battery and put the charger in and turn it on. But does it waste battery life if I put the battery back in?Does playing a psp with no battery going to lower the battery life?If the battery is full and you leave the psp plugged in to the charger, it actually hurt the battery a bit by overcharging it.

It's best if you're going to use the PSP for a long time at home or at a place where it can be plugged in, to charge fully the battery, then remove it and play only with the charger in until you need to move, then plug the battery and remove the charger.

This is really the best thing you can do to get the full potential of your battery. Like everyone else mention, no matter what you do, the battery will loose progressively with time the amount of charge it can hold. ( usually about 20-25% every year ).Does playing a psp with no battery going to lower the battery life?no. BAttery life will decrease with age. Each time you charge it it will loose like 3-4 seconds of use each time.
