How can I increase the current a battery provides and still make it last for a while?

If a battery gives 1.35A max discharge, how can this be increased so that it provides 60A of discharge and also the battery needs to last and operate for atleast 30 seconds. Is there some sort of converter device that will allow this to work? How can I increase the current a battery provides and still make it last for a while?Use a DC to DC converter to produce the higher current, but at a much lower voltage. The maximum current output of a battery is limited by its internal resistance, and that's determined by the battery construction and chemistry. You're not likely to change it that dramatically.

If this battery has 44 cells in series, reconnect the cells in parallel instead. That would increase it maximum current the required 44x.How can I increase the current a battery provides and still make it last for a while?really not possible. Switch to a larger battery.
