How long does a rechargeable lithium camera battery last?

It's been less than a year since I received the camera as a gift %26amp; recently I'm unable 2 recharge the battery. I am really upset as none of the stores carry this type of battery. It is for a Casio Exilim Z60 camera. I have even checked the website/ and manual for troubleshooting. When I plug the battery in the light blinks red. It is supposed to stay red and then turn green once charged. Any suggestions? I have kids and I dont go anywhere without the camera. How long does a rechargeable lithium camera battery last?Usually Li-ion batteries last for years. I have a set in my Nikon D100 that are just reaching the five year mark and an older Nikon Coolpix that is nearly six years old and still using the original Li-ion batteries.

I just make sure they are charged before I go out shooting and don't leave then drained for very long.

My battery chargers both blink (one red and the other amber) until the batteries are charged. I have a quick charger on mine and it takes up to four hours to fully charged if I have run them down to zero..

You may have to buy a new battery from Casio or look at one of the %26quot;battery%26quot; stores near you to replace it.How long does a rechargeable lithium camera battery last?order it from yahoo shopping.
