My laptop isn't turning on because the battery is dead. I don't know whether the battery itself is bad or the charger to charge the battery isn't working. However, this might be something with the power supply inside your computer or worse, a problem with a component on the motherboard.
To help you further, I think you can either go to your local Batteries Plus ( http://www.batteriesplus.com ) to get the battery and charger tested and see if they are the problem.
If not, go to a computer repair place to get a diagnosis.
