I have a battery charger but I am unable to see the actual battery. When you open the hood there is 2 conections 1 says %26quot;Negative Jump Start Attachment%26quot; the other reads %26quot;+ jump start. I am not mechanically inclined. Just make sure to attach positive +red to the +side post
and the black to the negative side. These jump start attachments are connected directly to the battery. They are used because sometimes the battery is mounted in a remote location. Then you will see a red handle on the other aligator clip of your charger, this should be connected to the pos jump start attachment. make sure to have the charger set to its lowest setting for charging. ( 2amp or trickle charge). There are two switches on your charger probably so check them both to make sure they are both on the lowest setting. This will allow you to charge your battery slowly over night. Having your charger set to high for an extended period of time can damage your battery or worse.
