The battery was inserted backwards in a FujiFilm Z10 camera and now it is stuck and I can't get it out. I have tried using plyers and tweezers to remove it and it won't budge. You had to have really pushed hard to get the battery in backwards ... You have learned a lesson ... NEVER force anything when using a camera .. digital or film.
