How can I fix my phone after getting it wet?

Jumped in the pool with it in my pocket, took it out right away and removed the battery. Left battery and phone out to dry separately, then put them in rice because I heard it would help absorb the water. I was told to leave it in there for 24 hrs. but don't know if I could take it out sooner perhaps. Hope it helps.How can I fix my phone after getting it wet?Hi if you've jumped in the pool with your phone %26amp; waterlogged it then your be looking at buying a new phone the reason i say this is because once the components in the phone get wet because they are so small %26amp; fragile they start corroding straight away although people say put it in rice i can tell you now that rice does NOT stop the components corroding %26amp; to be honest you've probably fried the circuits inside ! even if the phone does start working again it wont be long before you have to buy another phone ! if you took the phone for repair the phone will be classed as B.E.R (Beyond Economical Repair) basically its cheaper to buy a new phone than to get the liquid damaged phone sorted .... sly
